Account lifecycle

Unified accounts: Your XMPP account is created alongside your email account
Inactive account cleanup: Accounts unused for 90 days (no web/IMAP/POP3 access) are removed, including XMPP
No backup guarantee: Free service provided as-is
Storage limit enforcement: Mailbox becomes read-only when quota exceeded
XMPP dependency: XMPP service is an extension of your email account and cannot exist independently

Registration

Simple anonymous registration:

Use your invite code or url
Choose a username with letters, numbers and -
Set a password
Start using your new addresses:
- Email: username@message.casa
- XMPP: username@im.message.casa

No email verification or personal information is required. You will receive new invite codes regularly to share with trusted contacts.

Fair use policy

To maintain service quality for everyone:

One account per person
No spam or abuse
No commercial bulk mailing or messaging
Respect the sending and storage limits
Keep within quotas for both services

Abuse may result in account suspension.

To ensure you have a local copy of your messages, it is recommended that you regularly download your emails using an email client (IMAP or POP3). For XMPP, most clients support local message archiving.

The only guarantee is that we will do our best. For mission-critical communications, please use commercial providers.
